Let's take all of the mystery out of the executive search process. Detailed below is our recruitment process, from beginning to end. You will see that we devote a high level of attention to our candidates to ensure that we are making the best matches possible. When you're happy, and our clients are happy, then WE'RE happy!

 The Process – (in more detail than you probably need!):

  • Submit your current resume to info@bluechip-ps.com in Microsoft Word format.
  • If your skills and background match one of our specialty areas, you will be contacted by a Blue Chip consultant.
  • Your consultant will conduct a brief interview with you to learn more about your skills and experiences. He/she will also want to learn about your career goals, interests and long-term plan.
  • Your consultant will critique your resume and may ask you to make some edits to ensure that your resume thoroughly represents your skills and experiences.
  • If necessary, your consultant will conduct a second, more in-depth interview to ensure that he/she can accurately and thoroughly represent you to potential employers.
  • Your consultant will present your credentials to his/her existing client companies or will seek other employers who would potentially match your goals.
  • Your confidentiality will be respected, and your name will never be given without your consent.
  • If the client expresses an interest, your consultant will send them your resume. In most cases, they will receive a “blind” resume, which will not include your name or contact information.
  • If the client wishes to interview you, your consultant will notify you. At that point, you can decide whether or not we can reveal your name and contact info to the potential employer.
  • If you are interested in speaking with them, your consultant will check some or all of your references, depending on our contract with that client company.
  • Prior to your interview, you will have a coaching session with your consultant. The length and extent of that session will depend on your experience and confidence level with interviewing.
  • You will have a debriefing session with your consultant immediately following your interview.
  • Your consultant will conduct a similar debriefing session with the potential employer.
  • Your consultant will follow up on any outstanding questions or concerns that you or your potential employer may have.
  • If your potential employer wishes to extend an offer, your consultant will negotiate the best possible compensation package for you, keeping in mind the parameters that you gave him/her.
